Terms and Conditions

Gold Beautique Ltd wants to create an environment whereby everyone feels safe, comfortable and relaxed, therefore we ask that all clients understand, agree and abide by the terms and conditions.

 

A deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless Gold Beautique Ltd is unable to accommodate your booking.

 

Appointments made on the same day need to be confirmed via telephone prior to booking online. They will still require a deposit.

 

Changes to your appointment are not permitted within 48 hours of the booking. You can however change the appointment prior to this free of charge by contacting us. You will only have one opportunity to reschedule your appointment. Appointments will need to be within one calendar month of the original booking.

 

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, if you need to reschedule your appointment due to feeling unwell, please contact Gold Beautique Ltd as soon as possible. You will not lose your deposit and there will be no cancellation fee. However you will not be able to rebook your appointment until the governments recommended isolation period has ended. Your rescheduled appointment will need to be within 2 weeks from the end of the isolation period. If your appointment is not rescheduled within the 2 weeks from the end of the isolation period, you will lose your deposit.

 

If you arrive to your appointment looking visibly unwell, you will be denied entry and lose your deposit.

 

It will be mandatory to keep your belongings together and wash your hands on arrival.

 

You will receive confirmation of your appointment booking via email. You will also receive an email reminder and SMS reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment.

 

Patch tests much be performed 24 hours prior to the treatment. It is your responsibility to book in a patch test prior to your treatment. This can be booked online for free via www.goldbeautique.com/bookonline.

 

Promotions are not to be used in conjunction with each other (this includes loyalty cards). Promotional credit can be redeemed on treatments only, excluding Semi Permanent Make-Up treatments. It cannot be redeemed towards any item from the online shop, courses or coaching that Gold Beautique Ltd offers.

Package bookings, gift cards and store credit is valid from 1 year from date of purchase. Deposits are still required and a refund will be made upon completion of your treatment. Gift cards, package bookings and store credit are non-refundable and non-transferable to other people. 

 

Promotional leaflets will be limited to one per person.

 

It may be requested that you provide photographic identification when booking.

 

Please ensure you contact us if you are planning on attending with babies, children, friends, significant others or any other persons. This is at the discretion of the beautician. You will have full parental responsibility of your children during treatment. If you do not inform Gold Beautique Ltd you may be refused entry ad lose your deposit. For Semi Permanent Make-Up treatments you will not be able to attend with any other persons. For intimate treatments you will also not be able to have any other persons present unless you are a parent or guardian.

 

Mobile appointments need to be booked directly with Gold Beautique Ltd. A non-refundable deposit is required, this can be purchased from the online shop.

If you require more than one treatment, please contact Gold Beautique before booking to ensure all treatments can be performed. If you can see Gold Beautique Ltd has availability in the booking calendar, please add additional treatments in the note section of booking.

If you require an appointment further then one month in advance please contact us and we will try to accommodate you where possible.

 

You can pay the remainder of the treatment via cash or card on arrival.

Opening hours are 9am – 9pm Monday to Friday and 11am – 7pm Saturday and Sunday. Appointments before 10am or past 7.30pm Monday to Friday and before 11am or 6pm onwards Saturday and Sunday will incur an additional fee of £10. Please contact Gold Beautique for these appointment where they will then be made available to book . A deposit is still required.

 

Please be on time to your appointment as a late arrival can result in appointments clashing. If you are early to your appointment please contact your beautician as they may be busy with another treatment or customer.  

 

Lateness can result in your appointment being cancelled, however this is at the discretion of the beautician. Lateness or no shows will result in the loss of your deposit, it will also be at the beautician’s discretion to allow you to book for treatments in the future.

 

If you are under the age of 18 you will need to have a parent/guardian present and fill in the parental/guardian consent form. Treatments will not be performed on clients under the age of 16. Some treatments have a minimum age of 18. Please check with Gold Beautique Ltd Prior to booking.

 

A consultation form must be completed prior to any treatment commencing. You have a duty to ensure you fill out the consultation form accurately and truthfully. The therapist is replying on this information to provide a safe and effective treatment. You will take full responsibility for any information given incorrectly. Please update your therapist if your health changes.

 

You are responsible for attending your appointment having read the prior to appointment and aftercare guidelines. You will need to understand what is required of you by the therapist. The therapist will go over what is necessary for you to ensure a safe and effective treatment.

 

If you are uncomfortable at any time during the services provide by Gold Beautique Ltd, you have a duty to inform the therapist and/or manager.

 

Personal items - We request that you only bring essential items to the centre. Gold Beautique Ltd will not be liable for any damaged or lost personal belongings. Any items left in the facility will need to be collected within 7 days or they will be disposed of.

 

Behaviour - Any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and will result in the treatment being stopped and the client being asked to leave. Foul language will not be tolerated.

You must act respectful while in the facility at all times.

 

Copy right - No part of any of Gold Beautique Ltd publications and materials may be copied, rewritten, reproduced or distributed without written permission from the authors or in accordance with the provisions of Copyright, Designs & Patents Act 1988. Any person breaching copyright will be liable for criminal prosecution and civil damages. The materials and publications distributed by Gold Beautique Ltd is solely for the purchaser.

 

All clients are required to observe and abide by all policies regarding health, safety, security and any other regulations as set out by Gold Beautique Ltd.

 

Gold Beautique Ltd reserves the right to terminate services of any person who breaches the terms and conditions. As a result of termination of any service, you will be required to pay for the remainder of your treatment and you will not be refunded any of the deposit.

 

A before and after photo may be taken as evidence of your treatment and also may be used as a reference later. Consent to use images for marketing and social media purposes will be detailed on your consultation form.

 

Refunds are not permitted.

 

Complaints procedure & appeals - In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your service, please contact us within 14 days to discuss this further.

 

Additional Terms and conditions for Eyelash Treatments

 

Ensure you have fully read and understand the type of service you are booking in for. All information regarding the types of service, treatment preparation, aftercare and frequently asked questions can be found on the services page or via this link www.goldbeautique.com/lashes. All instructions need to be adhered to as failure to do this can result in inadequate longevity of the treatment or possible damage to your eyelashes. Gold Beautique Ltd cannot be held responsible if the prior to appointment guidelines and aftercare are not followed.

 

Patch tests do not grantee that a reaction will not occur. If you are suffering from a reaction please contact Gold Beautique Ltd as soon as possible. If the reaction is severe you should immediately attend a medical center.

 

Gold Beautique Ltd does not infill work done elsewhere.

 

Express Individual and Express Cluster eyelash extensions are designed to last up to a week and are not designed to be in filled.

 

Please book the appropriate slot. Infill’s are 50% lashes remaining, otherwise it will be considered a new set. If the beautician does not have time for the required treatment, your appointment will be cancelled resulting in loss of deposit.

 

A ‘mini fill’ is not to be treated as a regular way of maintaining eyelash extensions. If your last visit for eyelash extensions is over 2 weeks go, book in for a regular fill.

 

For eyelash extensions, mascara must not be used. If the therapist is unable to clean your eyelash extensions, removal will be required.

 

Lash lifts are generally only performed once within a 4-6 week period. Depending on your natural eyelashes will determine if you can have a treatment sooner.

 

Additional Terms and conditions for Brow Treatments

 

Brow treatments include brow wax, tint, threading, brow lamination and plucking. For other brow treatments please see terms and conditions for Semi Permanent Make Up (SMPU).

 

Gold Beautique Ltd cannot be held responsible if the prior to appointment guidelines and aftercare are not followed. These can be found at www.goldbeautique.com/brows.

 

A heat test will be conducted prior to the brow being waxed. You will need to respond accordingly. If the wax is too hot, it can burn you. The desired shape of the eyebrow will be discussed prior to treatment.

 

Patch tests do not grantee that a reaction will not occur. If you are suffering from a reaction please contact Gold Beautique Ltd as soon as possible. If the reaction is severe you should immediately attend a medical centre.

 

Brow Laminations are generally only performed once within a 4-6 week period. Depending on your natural hair type will determine if you can have a repeat treatment sooner.

 

Brow tint usually appear darker for the first 48 hours where by the colour will then lift.

 

All aftercare will need to be followed to ensure longevity of the treatment. This information can be found at www.goldbeautique.com/brows.

 

Additional Terms for Spray Tan Treatments

 

Gold Beautique Ltd cannot be held responsible if the prior to appointment guidelines and aftercare is not followed. These can be found at www.goldbeautique.com/spraytans.

A guide colour is included within the spray tan solution. Full results will not be known until the solution is washed off. This will be discussed with you within the consultation.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions for Waxing Treatments/Hair removal treatments

 

Gold Beautique Ltd cannot be held responsible if the prior to appointment guidelines and aftercare not be followed.

 

Patch tests do not grantee that a reaction will not occur. If you are suffering from a reaction please contact Gold Beautique Ltd as soon as possible. If the reaction is sever you should immediately attend a medical centre.

 

A heat test will be conducted prior to the treatment commencing. You will need to advise the therapist if you feel there is a change in temperature during the treatment. Our equipment is serviced regularly.

 

All aftercare will need to be followed to ensure longevity of the treatment. This information can be found at www.goldbeautique.com/waxing.

 

Additional Terms for Semi-Permanent Make-Up (spmu)

              

Patch tests do not guarantee that a reaction will not occur. If you are suffering from a reaction please contact Gold Beautique Ltd as soon as possible. If the reaction is sever you should immediately attend a medical centre.

 

All prior to appointment information and aftercare will need to be followed to ensure longevity of the treatment. This information can be found at www.goldbeautique.com/spmu. Gold Beautique Ltd cannot be held responsible if the prior to appointment guidelines and aftercare not be followed. It is highly important that you follow the aftercare advice as failure to do so could lead to an infection of the area.

 

A top up will need to be completed between 6 and 8 weeks of the initial treatment. If the top up is after 9 weeks of the initial treatment the cost would then fall under a colour boost treatment. Top ups are not included within ‘colour Boost Treatments’. If you feel you need an additional top up, the price will then fall under the cost of the ‘colour boost price’.

 

After the treatment of any SPMU there maybe redness and bruising in the treated area. The aftercare is vital to the healing process of the treatment.

 

Once the treatment begins you commit to paying the full price of the treatment.

 

Before and after photos will be taken for reference. They will only be used by Gold Beautique Ltd if permission is given on the consultation form.

 

You will need to understand the risks involved, possible complications, including risk of infection and no guarantee of final results. Gold Beautique cannot guarantee the final colour result in semi-permanent make up treatments as different skins heal differently. Immediately after the treatment the pigment in the skin will appear darker, this is a part of the healing process and full results will not be known until the full healing process has been complete in 6 to 8 weeks.

 

If previous work has been completed in the treatment area it is mandatory to book a consultation/patch test. You will then be advised on the recommended treatment.

 

Terms and Conditions for Courses and Beauty Coaching held by Gold Beautique Ltd

 

You will need to be aged 18 or over to complete any of Gold Beautique’s courses. Beauty Coaching is not an accredited course.

 

Course payments are non-transferable and non-refundable unless Gold Beautique Ltd is unable to accommodate your training.

 

Store credit is not redeemable on courses. Gift cards can be used towards courses. Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with each other.

 

Mobile courses are available and will need to be confirmed via the academy, additional charges will apply.

 

Prior to commencing your course you will need to agree to the terms & conditions and the code of conduct. You will need to sign and return the enrolment form, along with a valid form of photo identification. A valid form of ID can be emailed to training@goldbeautique.com or you can attached it to your enrollment form. Full payment of any course will need to be completed before you have access to any of the course materials.

You will not have access to the course materials until the above is completed.

 

You will need to create an account in ‘My Academy’. There is where you will be able to access all of the course materials.

 

The courses are accredited by ABT insurance. You will be able to gain insurance with ABT Insurance. If you wish to be insured with a different insurer, you will need to check with your preferred company if the course is covered under their terms and conditions. You will also need to check your local council’s requirements on offering treatments to the public in specific areas. We strongly advise that when completing case studies you obtain student insurance.

 

Some courses will require you to provide evidence of previous qualifications. You will need to provide these before any practical days take place. More information of the evidence of previous qualifications needed for the course will be on the specific course information page.

 

Student numbers will not exceed 8 students.

 

You will have 1 year to complete the course. If you require more time there will be an additional administration fee.

 

You will have continued support for 2 years from the date of purchase of the course. Every 3 months a refresher day will be available for free, you will need to book your space via a refundable deposit to secure your place.

 

It is important to know how the treatments feel and students that attend the academy are expected to receive treatments as a part of their training. You will be required to take a patch test 48 hours before the course and fill in a consultation form. If you are unable to receive any treatments yourself, where possible we recommend that you bring a model (your model will also need to receive a patch test and fill in the relevant consultation form 48 hours prior to treatment). The model will not be able to sit in on training but we will provide you with a preferred time of arrival. Where it is not possible to bring a model or receive the treatments yourself, we will try to accommodate a model for you, if Gold Beautique Ltd is unable to provide a model we will use fellow course attendees or practice will be completed on a mannequin. Patch tests can be booked via the website on the online booking page.

 

Electronic certificates will be provided for students once they have completed the course. Printed certificated will be available at an additional cost. Replacement certificates will also incur an additional fee.  

 

Our course materials will be available via PDF and word. You will need to ensure you have this software to access the courses. If you book an online course you will also need to ensure you have access to Skype or Zoom video calling. If you would like a hard bound copy of the manual these are available for an additional cost. You will only be able to purchase manuals for the courses you have purchased. If attending a group or 1:1 training session you will need to bring with you a printed copy of the manual.

You must complete an enrollment form and agree to the code of conduct

 

Information on the requirements on passing the course

To pass a group or 1:1 training course you will need to provide 3 case studies. These must be sent to training@goldbeautique.com individually. You will need to await feedback before commencing your next case study.

For group and 1:1 training, you will have an option to pass the course on the same day (this excludes online courses and there will be an additional fee) you will be assessed throughout the day and need to pass a list of proficiencies. If the tutor does not feel you meet the necessary requirements, an assessment will be scheduled at a later date for free.

To pass an online course you will need to provide 3 case studies. These must be sent to training@goldbeautique.com individually. You will need to await feedback before commencing your next case study. You will also be observed performing the treatment via Zoom or Skype. The video call will include general knowledge questions on the subject studied.

In some cases more case studies will need to be provided to ensure proficiencies are covered. Additional case studies may be needed if the images do not meet the necessary requirements. If a student is struggling to meet the necessary requirements it may be necessary to re sit the day (excludes online courses).

Sickness/Illness/No shows/Lateness

Failure to attend the course without notice will result in full loss of any training that day. However if you become unable to attend your course, please contact Gold Beautique Ltd at your soonest opportunity (where possible we will accommodate your circumstances - proof of excuse may be required).

Plan your journey accordingly. We expect you to be on time to training, if unforeseen circumstances arise, we expect you to contact us prior to the course starting. Failure to do this may result in you being refused entry to the course. There will be an additional fee for you to join another training day. An early departure from any course can also result in failure of the course.

 

Personal items

We request that you only bring essential items to the course. Gold Beautique Ltd will not be liable for any damaged or lost personal belongings. Any items left in the training facility will need to be collected within 7 days or they will be disposed of.

 

Electronic devices

Gold Beautique Ltd understands that it may be necessary to keep your electronic devices on your persons while attending this course. Phones should be kept on silent or vibrate during course hours. If a call needs to be taken during the course we kindly ask that you take it away from fellow students in a quiet area as to not disturb the class.

 

Dress code

All students must attend training in appropriate attire. Clothing should be comfortable with short sleeves and only black trousers permitted. Hair will need to be secured away from the face. Nails should be short, clean and presentable. Shoes must not exceed a heel height of 3cm and must be closed toe. Jewellery is to be of a minimum. Personal hygiene standards will also need to be met. Failure to adhere to the dress code & personal hygiene requirements may result in removal from the class/course.

 

Behaviour

Any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and will result in dismissal from the course.

Foul language will not be tolerated and will result in dismissal from the course.

You must treat each other and your tutor with respect at all times. You must not criticise fellow students. Students must work within their scope of knowledge and training.

We request that you only discuss relevant information relating to the course throughout the day.

 

Breaks and Refreshments

There will be short frequent breaks throughout the day. Biscuits, tea, coffee and water will be provided. There is a fridge available at the training venue should you wish to chill any packed lunch or drinks. There are local shops should you need to purchase food or drink. Chewing gum is not permitted within the classroom. Any student believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will dismissed from the course.

Should you be in breach of the code of conduct and the terms and conditions you will also not be able to part take in any further courses with Gold Beautique Ltd.
